The Prius is Back
The first mass produced hybrid was the first-generation Toyota Prius. The Prius was first introduced in Japan in 1997, and then was released into the United States market in 2000. Toyota had a winner in its hands. These were the times before driving range anxiety. The word hybrid in the automotive world was new to 99% of the world. From the beginning the Prius was the car of choice to many celebrities, it was the staple of the early 2000’s. After so much success and a couple of generations later, the Prius is back better than ever.
Why a Prius?
The first-generation Prius was not designed to be a stylish, cool looking car; its major purpose has always been to save gas. Toyota sacrificed looks for aerodynamics, and gas efficiency. People did not buy the Prius, or Prius Prime for its looks, but you bought one for what was inside the car, the hybrid system. A system that revolutionized the automotive industry. When the Prius first was introduced to the United States market, there was not a car that could get 41 miles per gallon. Of course, times have changed, and Toyota knows that people now value looks, performance and MPG’s. If people are to justify spending big money on a car, then they want the full package, and good thing Toyota listened and has delivered by introducing the new 2024 Toyota Prius and Prius Prime. Now you can go to your local dealership and get one for yourself.
2024 Prius is Sexy
The new Prius combines both looks and gas efficiency. So, if looks are important to you, then you can have it in the new 2024 Prius, but if MPGs are what matters most to you, then the Prius is also the right choice. The new Prius looks bad ass. In addition, the new Hybrid System offers over 50 miles per gallons. Gas savings is not the only reason anymore to drive the Prius, it has finally become an enjoyable car to drive. When you drive one, it does not feel slow, boring, or stiff.
What Are The Trim Levels
The Toyota Prius offers three trim levels, the LE, XLE, and Limited. You can also get each trim with an electronic on demand AWD if AWD is necessary for you. The Prius Prime Plug-in grades are the SE, XSE and XSE Premium. What is the best option? Well, it depends on you and your current situation. If you are a super commuter, then a Prius Prime Plug-in might be best choice. With the Prius Prime you do not have to worry about finding a charging station, unlike a Tesla, a full-on electric car. The Prime uses a combination of gasoline, hybrid, and electric motor. Plus, you get the reliability of a Toyota when you choose a Toyota Prius or Prius Prime.
In Conclusion
Is the 2024 Toyota Prius the right choice for super commuters? I think so. Many Tesla fan boys will disagree but that is okay. I do not think it is practical to spend time at a charging station waiting for the car to fully charge or to suffer from range anxiety. We already have so many demands in our busy lives that worrying about finding a charging station should not be another worry to add to our many worries.
